Syed Hamid S. Husain, DO, a graduate of New York College of Osteopathic Medicine of New York Institute of Technology Medical School is a recent addition to Southtowns Radiology. After completing his internship in Internal Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo, Dr. Husain completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology also at SUNY at Buffalo and then a fellowship in Body Imaging at the University of Wisconsin. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology as well as the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. His areas of fellowship training and expertise include CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and both general nuclear medicine/PET and nuclear cardiology. Special certification and credentials includes ACCF/AHA Level-II training in Cardiac CT Angiography (CTA) and ACR Certification in Coronary CTA interpretation. He obtained additional training through the Cleveland Clinic – Cardiovascular CT Fellowship Training Program and was a fellow at the University of Wisconsin, Cardiac CT unit, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. Special interests include Coronary CTA, Virtual Colonography, minimally invasive ultrasound guided procedures. He resides in Williamsville.
